Our next Fall issue, set to be published online in September 2026, is themed “LIMINAL”.
Liminal is the realm of the in-between. It is where borders blur and categories dissolve, where spirit and matter touch, where dreams and waking life overlap. These are the spaces that defy definition: glimpses of the soul’s shadow, echoes from alternate timelines, whispers from the cosmos.
In our 2026 issue, we turn our gaze to these thresholds of perception and being. To the places where we slip between cultures and identities, where transformation unfolds in silence, where we sense both what has been and what is not yet formed. The liminal is not about crossing into something new, but about existing within the shimmer of what cannot be pinned down.
Writers, poets, and artists: we invite you to explore the spaces between. Possible directions include:
- Near-death experiences and visions of the spirit world
- Alternate timelines, parallel universes, and cosmic crossings
- Encounters in dream states, astral travel, or lucid visions
- Manifestation work and the delicate edges of intention
- Shadow work and the landscapes of the unconscious
- Identity between cultures, languages, or belonging
